Father, 2x Ironman Triathlete,  accomplished endurance athlete, real food advocate, published co-author who lives with a positive mindset and life based on gratitude and service to my family, friends and acquaintances.

Bruce is the creator of the “Health and Wellness Mindset” which is intended to act as a conduit to all things health and wellness. Bruce’s intent is to coach and assist others in developing and maintaining the mindset to live a higher performing life based on their passions while improving aspects of their life focusing on nutrition, daily movement (exercise), relationships and lifestyle. Mindset is the key to creating the daily habits that initiate and perpetuate this lifestyle and a primary focus of his.

Bruce, 55 years old, is the father of 19 year old Shane and 17 year old Julia whom are both high performing young adults academically, socially and athletically.  A native Michigander who was born in Detroit and continues to live in the suburbs, Bruce is a strong family man and believes family connection is one key to happiness.

Early Life

Bruce grew up playing all types of athletics including hockey, football, tennis, biking, running, basketball and more.  Bruce’s passion was ice hockey where he excelled, traveled to and played in Sweden in his teens and was invited to walk on at his collegiate varsity hockey team. After college Bruce maintained his fitness through playing in adult leagues in various sports while focusing on starting a family and building his professional life.

In 2012 Bruce read “Finding Ultra: Rejecting Middle Age, Becoming One of the World’s Fittest Men, and Discovering Myself” by Rich Roll.  This was the catalyst for Bruce to embrace triathlon, become an endurance athlete and most importantly have a desire to create a higher performing life based on passion and overall health and wellness.  Since Bruce has embraced a new life path and made lifestyle changes that included nutrition, exercise, relationship and mindset.  Bruce continues to study and follow the most progressive experts in these areas.

Bruce has competed in and finished two full IRONMAN 140.6 events including IRONMAN Mont Tremblant and IRONMAN Muskoka and completed three (half) IRONMAN 70.3 events including IRONMAN Steelhead 70.3 twice and Grand Rapids Triathlon 70.3.  Bruce has completed in numerous Olympic and Sprint triathlons during this journey while also competing in various 26.2 and 13.1 distance marathons. Bruce is an avid cyclist and participates in cycling events year round.  Bruce continues to embrace the triathlon / endurance athlete lifestyle and continually strives to improve his nutrition, exercise, relationship and mindset.

Professional Life

From a professional standpoint, Bruce has MBA in International Business Management and a BS in Finance and Economics.  Bruce has traveled the world during his career working in India, Europe, South America, Japan, Australia, China and Canada. Bruce’s expertise is in building strong lasting relationships, developing new markets and managing global sales teams in automotive electronics, medical devices, healthcare, agriculture, construction, aerospace and consumer electronics in domestic and international markets.

Bruce’s passion is to expand his knowledge in the health and wellness space and to inspire and assist others in their own health and wellness journey.  Bruce’s intent is to follow this path and help others live a higher performing life while improving their health.
